My name is Teresa Michalk. I’ve always been just like my mom (she was a “doer”), and I’ve spent my whole life making things with my hands. Baking, gardening, sewing, crochet, knitting, painting, quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, jewelry, and most recently pottery and woodworking.
The biggest joy I have in making things is seeing the faces of people I give my handmade goods to. The smile on their faces warms my heart and pushes me to make more. Now I want to pass those smiles on to you. When you buy something from Gecko Color, I want your face to light up when you see it. When you give what you’ve purchased to someone as a gift, my prayer is that you get that warm feeling when their face lights up. When one person smiles, it’s hard not to smile along with them.
